Any package I'm trying to install via apt-get it tells me it cannot find it

How do I update the repo of this distro?
I'm a programmer that needs a distro to install docker, git, and stuff related.
Also be able to install older versions if needed

Thanks

Welcome to LQ, react0r.

Which version of Deepin are you using?

If you have inxi installed, please run:

Code:
inxi -r
else, run:

Code:
cat /etc/apt/sources.list{,.d/*}

Firstly we will need to know the version of the OS you are running, the contents of your /etc/apt/sources.list to make sure you are setup to receive updates. Older versions can be problematic and may need to be install manually with again you linking manually on the command line when compiling to ensure the correct older version is used when the build happens.

Ok, thanks. That looks fine to my untrained eye.

Can you please paste the output from:

sudo apt-get update

and, if the above completed without errors/warnings:

sudo apt-get upgrade

Ok, thanks. If you navigate to http://packages.deepin.com/deepin/di...able/InRelease using your browser, does it work? i.e. does it download the relevant file via the browser?

Do you have any internal or external firewall set up, to your knowledge?
