5g Wireless Router Adapter Drivers

I recently purchased a Netgear 5g Router and I'm unable to see the 5g option on my wifi using my Linux laptop and my Windows laptop. My wife's iMac finds it with no problem. I've looked for adapter drivers but haven't located anything for Linux and Netgear doesn't really have anything supporting Linux. Does anyone know any other options? - mjh

If the laptops have only 2G
adapters you're going to have to buy
USB adapters with 5G capability.
You'll probably need more than drivers.
Just my guess.

5G is not WiFi, it's an entirely different technology - mobile broadband it used to be called.
