Question 2014RC: Adding/Removing Icons from the Docking Panel

I have found how to add icons from Launcher to the Docking Panel or else place them onto the Screen. How do I remove icons that are no longer needed?

I particularly want to take out the Movie, Music and Gamer Icons.

Cheers, Ian

Presumably you are talking about Deepin Desktop because your message is in the Deepin forum (- don't worry I had similar questions......)

Regarding the 2014 Deepin Desktop, **some icons** (so far) can't be removed. I wanted to remove the Trash icon but couldn't, and so reported it as a bug, only to be told that it is not intended to be removed. Other icons I can't recall how I removed them - possibly by dragging them.

Apparently they are working on configuration features for the dock but these may not be all ready for the 2014 release just yet. I could be wrong but that is the impression I am getting from their English Talk forums.

PS Good win by the Crows the other day.....

Thanks mate, I see there is a new release so perhaps they have fixed the problem. Will have to update to find out

PS: Sorry, I don't follow Aussie Rules football. I know of the names of the clubs but their results and exploits bring on an immediate muting filter LOL

Click the left mouse to drag the icons you want to remove to the blank space of the desktop.

At present we don't provide removing the Trash icon.
