RHCT - help

can anyone provide the name of a decent book to study for the RHCT exam? I am interested in
taking the exam at the end of this year and I want to be sure I am up to the task!

I saw a couple books on amazon for the RHCE ---> would these suffice??

Thanks...

Zepp

Remember that no matter how much studing you do the problem is that the exam is not theory but practical so hands on is essential

Well, Red Hat states that the RHCT is a subset of the RHCE. So if your RHCE books are complete, they cover all RHCT requirements (and more).

The online docs from Red Hat were a HUGE study aid for me:

http://www.redhat.com/docs/manuals/enterprise/

I downloaded the System Administration Guide, the Intro to System Administration book, and the Reference Guide.

I also printed out the course outline for RH133 (the RHCT class) and went over it using the above books. Every topic was covered. This really prepared me for the class. I passed the RHCT with little or no trouble, and later on, the RHCE.

I hope it helps for you!!

Good Luck!

I took the RH133 course at Red Hat, Inc. after studying for about a month. It was an excellent prep for the week-long class.
