Exclamation RHCT

I am a true newbie when it comes to Linux. I plan to do RHCT to start with. Can some one please let me know how to go about preparing for it? Is there any study material i need to follow. Also let me know what would be the exam fees for it?

Thanks in advance

Go for RHCE Preparation Guide by Michael Chang.
That Will definitely help you out.

@Ninjaa: See the RHCT components and study points here: https://www.redhat.com/certification/rhct/prep_guide/

You can find exam fees on redhat.com as well.

IMHO. Go for the RHCE not the RHCT.

The RHCE encompasses the RHCT. Which means that if you get your RHCT...and then want to go for your RHCE...you _still_ have to take the RHCT test over again...eventhough you have it.

Take the RHCE...

I'm considering doing the RHCT, purely because RHCE would be overkill for what I do for a living... (Currently an operator, not an admin!)

I am toying with the idea of putting together a system to learn on, as my main system is Debian based. Would CentOS or Fedora fit the bill better?

Use CentOS; it's (almost) exactly like RHEL.
