Hai All,
I enrolled for RHCE training in an Authorised Training Centre last fortnight.I got their Official Course Material (3 books and RHEL 4 WS CD's).Is there somebody who attended RHCE exams on RHEL 4?What's the Difference?is it very Tough. Is the classes +reading Official Book Suffice? In which areas should we Concentrate?
Please Help.
As has been mentioned here before, those who have taken the RH exams have signed NDA's, so their ability to discuss the tests are very limited.
Courses are designed to help you pass, so that should get you close, the rest depends on your knowledge, speed and accuracy.

That's OK.But they can provide whether there is too much diffrncs compared with RHCE on RHEL 3.As i attend my class my instructor often uses concepts from RHEL 3 and next day we need to re-look at them for RHEL 4.
Hello,
I am also enrolled and taking the exam at the end of September.
Plz mail me the script for breaking my system for RHEL3 & RHEL4.
And anyone who can provide with any other material which can help me with preparation.
Actually, i have prepared with RHEL3 and now it is changed to RHEL4.
Another thing, can any one tell me what are the differences in RHEL3 & RHEL4.
i've also got a pdf with the title 'RHEL3 to RHEL4' . havn't read it though. i am sure they are available on th net. but i havn't cared to find since i have one. anyways, whoever wants it, do let me know and if possible put this up on your home page so that accessing it for guys here is not a pain.
as for the RHEL 3 exam.... if what i've seen (actually a mail from RedHat to my institution guys) is true, then RHEL3 exams is scrapped and those enrolled for RHEL3 would also be giving it on RHEL4 (at least in my city, the the last RHEL3 exam is over). as for SELinux, its not there for atleast now. well, confirm it before taking it from me.
I am scheduled to take the exam in November. Can someone please send me the rpm as well (sjp000@yahoo.com). Also, can anyone recommend me any other book or software that will get me prepared better for RHEL4.
