I actually sat the RHCE 6.5 on Friday. I was advised by RedHat training themselves that people should sit the RHCE for RHEL6 as the RHCE paper for RHEL 7 will not be released until mid 2015. The RHEL 6 paper is still the current paper and will be for some time.
Red Hat will not create an exam for RHEL 7 until they have courses written for them. The courses have not even started development yet.

I'm not sure where your trainer got their information but you will likely see a RHEL 7 exam before end of summer.
(unconfirmed) I gather the release date for new/updated Red Hat courses varies between the US and other locations. So it is possible that you are both (GaWdLy and jonnybinthemix) correct.

That's certainly possible.
To be more clear:
In the US, we should see RHEL7 courses soon, with a short crossover period (RHEL6 and RHEL7). As I mentioned before, this will probably happen before the end of the summer.
RHEL 7 has been live for only 7 days. The RHEL7 exam would be later this summer, sometime. I take that to mean "between now and October". I have no concrete dates, however.
If I happen upon some releasable info that satisfies your request, I'll come back and update you.
I was told by one of our trainers that RHEL 7 fast track courses are currently being taught. Find a facility near you that has the EX300 course/exam for RHEL 7.
