I am currently studying Linux + for my XK0-002 certification. My question is this. Does anyone have any knowledge on what type of questions the CompTia certification ask? I just want to be prepared and ready. Thanks

Hi,

why don't use google? CompTia itself provides some test questions here.

You could answer most of these by doing things like "man help", "man chmod" etc. at your command line or looking them up at http://www.linuxmanpages.com/

The only one you can't obviously do that way is number 4, but your answer is in "man bash" (or "info bash"). However, that's rather terse: I'd suggest getting a good general book on Bash.

Or just Google for "shell redirection".

XK0-002 ? Isn't that based on 2004 objectives. I rather would take up the beta exam or wait untill the 2009 objectives are released!
