I want to get a certification that is simple on Linux because I dont plan to go towards a Linux career right now. Im more of a network, then Microsoft then Linux kind of guy. Still, knowing Linux (somewhat) where I live, get a lot of opportunities and salary (which is my main goal)
Reading thru this section, I see that "Linux Essentials" is basically the easiest and starting point for everyone. Might not be even considered a cert (much like MTA)

You might want to join an ULCER = Ubuntu Linux Certified Engineer Rally.

Is this true?
Thank you
Linux essentials is a great place to start, and it gives you the base if you want to learn more. You do get a 'Entry Level Credential' according to LPI.
If the requirement, in your hiring area, is merely that "you know Linux, somewhat ..." then why, exactly, do you suppose that you must spend money for a "Linux certification" in order to prove the point? ? ?
