Smile Anyone going for RHCA???

Hi,

I would like to know the detailed syllabi of RHCA. If anyone of you out there have any ideas on this, please post. I am looking forward on doing this as soon as possible. Also please post your ideas and the possibilities on this since this certification does impose a tremendous burden both on the pocket and the intellect. Please send in your valuable ideas.

Thanks in advance....

Hi Vimal,

Good luck preparing for the RHCA exams. I am preparing for RHCSS myself and will attempt RHCA after that (if all goes well)

I hear it is on par with the CCIE exam in terms of difficulty. You'll have to take five endorcement exams spanning over 5 days on the following subjects.

Security: Network Services
Deployment and Systems Management
Directory Services and Authentication
Storage Management
System Monitoring and Performance Tuning

The RHCA exam is not offered in India yet so you may have to travel to Singapore or Australia.

By the way, have you taken the RHCSS exams or are you going directly for RHCA? If you have I'd really appreciate some pointers.

Best of luck!

From what I've heard, each of the five tests range from a little easier to a lot harder than the RHCE exam. I think it will depend a lot on where your strenghts and weaknessel lie though.

Hello All,

I am planning to go for the RHCSS exam. I have completed my RHCE.
Can we get something to read for it apart from the linux study guides from Redhat? I did lot of googling and could find nothing.

Due to the strict non-disclosure agreement you signed when you got your RHCE, you're not going to find anything on the web. The best way to prepare is to take the RH classes. If you're trying to avoid the classes, look at the description of the course/exam on their website and make sure you know how to do everything they list.
