Hey Guys,

I am not sure if this is the right forum for this or not but I thought I would give it a shot. I am looking for some unix training (besides the self taught book method, which I have and am doing). What I am looking for is a boot camp type, classroom, structured training that will give me a jumpstart to learning the ins and outs of the OS. I don't necessarily need you to do the research for me, just kind of point me in the right direction.

I don't know a whole lot about the platform, so a basic course will do for now, with a more in depth administration course to follow.

Google search returns so many results, it's kind of daunting trying to figure out the best one to choose.

If you know of or could recommend any place like this (sorry cant post the link yet):

Any and all help you can give would be greatly appreciated. It is for work, so price is a consideration, but not a limiter.

I took a non UNIX course at The Learning Tree a few years ago. The class was excelent and I enjoyed every minute of it. You might want to look at them. They offer Linx classes and have branches all over the US.

Thanks Tangle, learning tree was one of the ones on my list. HOTT is the one posted above. Sorry about not putting the Company name. In a hurry and it slipped my mind. I have heard good things about them.

I have a day or two before I need to submit this so will will see if anybody has any other suggestions.
