JDS live CD connect to internet
You can connect to the internet via dialup modem on the Live-CD. It works immediately off of cable and DSL. Anyway here's how you do it, providing that your modem works under linux.
as root, edit /etc/wvdial.conf
you want to edit the baud, phone, username, and password
Once that's done, all you have to do is log in a terminal as root, and type:
wvdial
to disconnect from the internet :
ctrl-c
that should be it.
