Two quick (hopefully) questions

I'm running Incognito from a USB stick with a persistant home volume so I can save changes.

1) How do I change the splash screen that comes up. Having a big "Incognito" banner displayed everytime I boot doesn't do much to make it inconspicuous.

2) Reading about TruCrypt, it seems as though I should be able to use it to install an OS in a hidden volume and launch it using a trucrypt bootloader. I can't seem to figure out how to do that using the application that installs to USB.

thanks,

Roy

From what I understood you must be booting a CD image from USB, with the extra (forgot the name) file for storing user changes.
So you didn't really install an OS, you're using it as a static boot with an extra partition (in a file) for changes. TruCrypt probably would work if you really installed your linux distro on the USB drive.
That goes for the splash screen.... can't change it cause your boot is basically a copy of a live CD. Of course you can create your own custom live CD, but that's another story.
So, did you try to actually partition, format and install your linux distro in the USB like a regular HD? If you can, then everything you want would be easier.

There is no other splash screen theme shipped with Incognito so you cannot change it. You can, however, disable the splash screen (and thus only having alot of text scrolling by during boot) by removing all occurances of "splash=silent,theme:incognito-2008.1" from syslinux/syslinux.cfg on your USB drive.

This isn't supported by Incognito -- it doesn't try to hide its precense when installed on a USB drive at the moment. You can, however, make your persistent home hidden.
