Removing unneeded x11 drivers?
 

I just ran "emerge -pv --update --deep world" and found that it wanted to update "x11-drivers/xf86-video-ati". Since I use an Intel graphics chipset, I would like to remove this (to save space).

Is there an easy way to do this (cleanly)?

add the line to your make.conf (this is very well described in the gentoo handbook)

Turns out, it is not in my make.conf.
