Printer Lexmark X1190 on Gentoo

I have a problem with my printer - Lexmark X1190 on Gentoo amd64. I've tried to install it using my usual drivers (the same are here: http://ubuntu-ky.ubuntuforums.org/sh...=49714&page=57 ). I've used them before on Arch Linux and Ubuntu - they've worked flawlessly.

I execute /usr/lib/cups/backend/./z600 to test it. It should print the printer model, but I get some libstdc++ errors.

Code:
mad@mad-gentoo /usr/lib/cups/backend $ /usr/lib/cups/backend/./z600
/usr/lib/cups/backend/./z600: /usr/lib32/libstdc++.so.5: no version information available (required by /usr/lib/cups/backend/./z600)
/usr/lib/cups/backend/./z600: /usr/lib32/libstdc++.so.5: no version information available (required by /usr/lib/cups/backend/./z600)
direct z600:/dev/usb/lp0 "Lexmark Lexmark X1100 Series" "Lexmark Printer"
Usually on Arch/Ubuntu x64 I had to copy libstdc++.so.5 file from x86 distro, but I've installed app-emulation/emul-linux-x86-compat, so I think there is no need for this.

Also on CUPS I get an error:
Code:
"Unable to start filter "rastertoz600" - No such file or directory."

Try emerging sys-libs/libstdc++-v3, this should work for both 32 and 64 bits as long as you have a profile that's mutilib enabled.

I've already tried that. No differance. However, if I download the i386 version of libstc++.so.5 and *.so.5.0.7 file the libstdc++ version warning is gone, however I still can't print. The rasteroz600 error still exists and prevents me from printing.

I can't help much with cups, that error might be about a missing filter or a missconfigured one.

What I would do in your case (now that the .so problem seems to be "fixed") is: try to locate the filter using find, maybe it's on an incorrect location, maybe it's a permissions problem and it can't be read even if it's on the correct place. If the filter is part of the package you installed by hand, then there might be something about how to install it and how to set the right permissions for it on the documentation included in that package.

I would also search the net for something like "cups unable to start filter". That will give you an overall view on what the problem might be. Sure it's generic enough.

Well I was looking about this error for several hours. I've found this file its in /usr/lib/cups/filter (on other distros it was in the same folder)

Code:
mad@mad-gentoo /usr/lib/cups/filter $ ./rastertoz600
ERROR: rastertoz600 job-id user title copies options [file]
