Question: Is it usual that opera crashes, or that opera nukes my previous started google-chrome process? Has anyone something similar on a gentoo box?

After a coldboot I started google-chrome.
After that I started opera which instantly crashed google-chrome and gave me this in /var/log/messages
Code:
Apr 27 07:30:26 ASUS-G75VW kernel: opera[5281]: segfault at 10 ip 000000000378c461 sp 00007ffcc8b0d490 error 4 in opera[1a24000+5b20000]
The box is afaik up to date.
Code:
ASUS-G75VW /home/roman # qlist -Iv opera; qlist -Iv google-chrome
www-client/opera-52.0.2871.99
www-client/google-chrome-66.0.3359.117
I saw opera segfaulting yesterday also. A few hours ago I finished the update of my box. The box was not updated since end of march.
I removed cloog as it is marked +, but did not build regardless of gcc 7.2 and 7.3. the corresponding tools have told me that cloog is not a dependency of anything so I removed it.
I started yesterday in using opera again.
opera segfaults regardless of my old kernel 4.9.85 and now my updated 4.9.96 kernel + new intel microcode.
