Issues with startx


Hello all, I can't seem to find what the issue is with startx. I looked throught the log file but don't understand where the error is. I have followed the wiki line by line.

Pointers would be much appreciated thank you

I think that's not the whole log. Please, review it or use some tool like wgetpaste to upload the log and then privide us with a link to it.

There's no error in that part.

We need to know more about your hardware and driver config. Are you running radeon/fglrx/nvidia/nouveau? What video card are you running?

Did you emerge twm and xterm to test X?

Another potential issue if you're not getting any errors: I emerged e16 by accident, then tried to start e17 in my .xinitrc with
Code:
ck-launch-session enlightenment_start
I got nothing but a black screen and nothing in the Xorg log.
