Gentoo based distro with binaries and an installer?
Is there a distro that has an installer and built-in binaries so compiling is optional and I don't need to do it for big packages?

Wiki .... "Distributions_based_on_Gentoo" :

Calculate-linux: Using the desktop version, couldn't make it work after the installation (it just didn't started). Using the scratch version, couldn't make the gui come up. redcore seems very interesting! I will check it out, thanks a lot! |

Why are you insisting on gentoo if you don't want to bear the cost of compiling ?. Bragging points ?.
