aMSN 0.98 and Portage - not showing up.

Hi,

I've recently run emerge --sync and also run the following...

Code:
ebuild /usr/portage/net-im/amsn/amsn-0.98.1-r1.ebuild digest
...with the following output...

Code:
>>> Creating Manifest for /usr/portage/net-im/amsn
  digest.assumed                 1
   amsn-0.98.1::amsn-0.98.1.tar.bz2
   amsn-0.98.1-r1::amsn-0.98.1.tar.bz2
...but when I run the following...

Code:
emerge -av amsn
...it still asks me if I want to reinstall amsn-0.97.2-r1.

How can I get it to see the new version?

Thanks for the help.

0.98.1* is marked as unstable for all the supported architectures, so you will have to keyword it conveniently. You should read the chapter in the handbook about mixing stable and unstable branches, but in short, editing /etc/portage/package.keywords and adding this line should work:

Code:
net-im/amsn

After sorting out some blocked and conflicting packages I got it working. Thanks again, fella.
