Yay Me!!!

Today I celebrated my 1 year aniversary with linux (give or take a week) by switching the server at work to SuSE 8.2 pro running DHCP and Samba. ( 15 boxes - mixed XP Home and Win98SE ). I have a lot of fine tuning to do but everything worked as advertised.

This probably ain't anything to all you sys admins out there, but for a non computer professional, I thought this was pretty cool

Lets see, has to be since about October of '98 since I started using Linux, or around that time frame when I first started experimenting with it. Wow, almost 5 years for me...

Congrats though.... on your one year anniversary.

Sounds great, but won't the system administrator be mad when he gets back?
