wife installed linux


not sure where this goes so i stick it over here.


my wife installed suse on her system last week. she's been using linux for about two weeks.

not sure why i'm telling everyone. just thought it was worth telling. she's a writer not a big time techie or anything.

Congrats for her, she's made a wise choice.

And this belongs more in just the General Forum as its not really a Linux - Technical question.

I've just installed Mandrake on my wifes laptop. Hopefully she'll become a regular user.

Good Job,
Mine wants to try Linux also. I already have Mandy 8.1 and RH 7.3, but...

she is looking at Suse. She picked it because of the lizard on the box. I am still dumbfounded on her selection process, but know better then to try to figure her, or any woman, out.

she obviously relates the lizard to some moral/ethical values allowing her to feel comfortable with herself and confident in her skills as a computer user.
