What an odd game to say the least. I noticed that none of the commentators mentioned that both teams' names are slang terms for pirates, maybe some native pirates will start a movement to stop the degrading use of their heritage by these teams. Did I say pirates? I really meant naval reaquization engineers.
kudos to the raiders for probably breaking a record for the:
most 'throwing the ball away' successes without an intentional grounding call.
most penalties in a superbowl game (though they can't gloat too much over that since they hold the old record too.)
most failed two point conversions in a superbowl. (would have sucked if they had only lost by 3 wouldn't it.)
And I usually have to mention the "best superbowl commercial" but this year the award has been temporarily renamed to "the least sucky commercial":
VISA's twins spot, "so you're in the superbowl and he's watching it?"
