I would be very grateful if you could take part in this survey.
Here's what you have to do. Post your location, the mirror site (for Linux ISO downloads, software, package repositories etc.) which is fastest/most reliable for you (in your experience) and its location, your distro(s) and what your internet connection speed is (in Kbps).
Since I cannot really test all mirrors on my own and I cannot judge speeds based only on my connection, it would greatly help me (and others, I'm sure) if you can post some info. No matter in which part of the world you live, please feel free to take part. It would also help me get an idea how much the speed is determined by the location.
I'll start:
My Location: South India My Fastest Mirror: http://mirror.averse.net (Singapore) Distro: Debian and Gentoo Internet Connection: 64 kbps Ethernet Cable Comments: Mostly I find that SE Asian mirrors (Korean, Singapore) are faster for my purposes. But the Singapore mirror is definitely more reliable for me.

My Location: 59° 21' N 18° 4' E My fastest mirror:ftp://ftp.sunet.se/(150 mbit? guess) Distro: Way to many to list. Slackware is my favorite. Love Gentoo and start to like Ubuntu too... As non-linux, FreeBSD is the one Internet Connection: 3-4 mbit Comments: I just get the stuff from Swedish servers, unless, I can't find something in here. There're might be faster ones, however, but if something ain't broke, I don't have time to tweak. Oh, and I don't like Final Fantasy either

Sure. But that doesn't give me a clue as to which mirror performs well for different users in different parts of the world. Therefore this survey. It would help people who are close geographically to help one another choose the fastest mirrors for their purposes.
Also I was interested in knowing which side the transfer slowdown occurs: the ISP end or the server end. Such a survey might help people choose low traffic mirrors also.
Of course, it all depends on the network connectivity, ISP and so on, but still it would be a fair idea.
