Is anyone using Native Instruments programs with Linux /


Is anyone using Native Instruments Software Programs with Linux. If so can you help me to do this? j

Well you definately cant use wine. You could try qemu. Its not particulary easy at first. But if you have a windows cdrom, the basic setup is like this.

First you create a 10 gb size image. (or whatever size you like) You could use dd. But the qemu way of doing this is.

qemu-img harddisk.img 10 G

and then

qemu -boot d -hda harddisk.img -cdrom /dev/cdrom -soundhw es1370


And then run the windows installer.

And you're set. Sorta. Good luck on midi though. There is this thing
for qemu called a pci-proxy. If you have a spare sound card, you might want to look into that as well.
