Unhappy I've Gone Back to the Darkside

Well, shoot me!

I've uninstalled Linux from my computer completely and have reinstalled Windows.

Why have done this? Well, I was just having too many problems running Linux on my computer. There was just too much to troubleshoot and not enough stuff that actually worked to keep me happy. Therefore, I am now using only Windows 2000.

I might a get bigger hard drive for Christmas, though. Right now I only have 13GB hard drive and it's hard to cram both Windows and Linux on it and still have enough space left over for other things. If I get a bigger disk then I'll try putting Linux back on my computer (side by side with Windows) and see what I can still do with it. Until then, it's Winbloze all the way.

Hopefully sometime next year I may come up with the money to buy a laptop with Linux preinstalled on it that is certified to run Linux. Perhaps that will fix all the problems I've been having with Linux. I hear that Linux Certified has some nice Linux laptops. Are they're laptops any good? I'm thinking about buying the LC2100 or it's successor. I need something thin and light that I can carry around wherever I need to.

Maybe you should have gotten rid of winblowz in the first place, and done a fresh install of Linux without the enema still on your HD....

Correct, as long as you keep the network cable pulled out and stick to playing games.
