Its the one that when you put it in and reboot your PC you get a menu with three options
boot with cdrom support
boot without cdrom support
help file
do you have this disk
if you do then simply reboot and choose
boot without cdrom support (for no other reason than its quicker than with it)
then type in fdisk /mbr
which replaces the mbr with a default one that gets loaded when you first installed windows and your done.
One word of warning though, if you do this and you still want to get into linux then make sure you have the linux boot disk that you made when you installed linux.
Format a disk and go into control panel, add/remove programs. There you will find an option at the top to create a boot disk. The win 95 boot is slightly better in my opinion for the fact it has all the tools! win 98 has the cd boot option! Best of both worlds. Make a win 98 boot disk and copy over some usefull files like edit.com and others! That disk will be a life saver when lilo dies on you and you need to get to windows. I would also suggest a linux boot disk incase this happens so you can get to linux to repair lilo.
