cygwin- ssh: connect to host hostname port 22: Connection timed out

what i have been doing to connect to a remote host :
ssh username@hostname
and it has been working until last two week.
I dont know what happened.

now every time i try to connect to the remote host i get the error:

ssh: connect to host hostname port 22: Connection timed out

Windows firewall update, maybe? New firewall product installed in windows?


Moving to GENERAL for better exposure.

Did you update/change anything? We can't help based on the little info you provided.
Software rarely "just stops working", usually things change in the environment which
cause breakage.
