converting .bin into iso image file

Good day all,
Please, how do I convert a .bin file into an ISO image, so I can install a network management application on a redhat linux server?

Any and all stabs at this question are welcome.

Thanks
-Anthony

First check if it isn't already compatible to *.iso image - try to mount it, use "file" command, etc.
Then there is iat32 utility that should be able convert some formats into *.iso.

just install cdemu and there you are now able to mount almost every cd image

Install error message

ErV,
Thankyou for your response. I used Roxio cd creator 9 to port my .bin file into an .iso image. I then mounted a cd rom drive on my redhat linux server and copied my .bin file to the cd rom drive.

However, I can't install the .bin file. It's cisco ANM, (Cisco Application Networking Manager). Here's what happens:

root@localhost admin# ./anm-2.0.bin
Error: ANM 2.0 cannot be installed on RHEL 4

Does this error mean I don't have enough space on RHEL 4 to install, or the Redhat Linux server has a problem with my ANM 2.0 file?

Thanks
-Anthony

This *.bin file is obviously an installation package, not a cd-image.
Since you can run it, this means it works,

This is a RedHat-specific problem, and I can't help you there, because I use another distribution and I'm not familiar with ANM software.

Your thread should probably be moved into another forum where it will get more attention.
