Any suggestions for my blog? [post your blog address here]

Yeah the thing the tile says and :
  • Does it look professional anyhow?
  • Do you enjoy reading it?
  • Is it interesting?
  • Does the blog look good overall?
I am pretty much new to all this blogging thing so I am learning.. Please help me out ! I am trying to make it seem as professional and as interesting as it can be, but I don't have the money to buy a domain though.. I'm gonna have to get a co.cc domain soon :-)

Oh yeah and after all the answers I need have been provided, This thread could be something like : post your blog link here
so people can see what other people think over their blog.. what do you think? :-)

Ohh and the blog link is : http://andy-sstuff.blogspot.com/

I think LQ isn't here to get traffic to your blog.

i am not trying to get traffic., but what if you had a script and wanted someone to test if the script worked well on other configurations? well you would have opened a thread here wouldn't you?

actually, i don't even care about traffic.. i only use that blog to express myself and now im trying to really do a good job with this blog and not leave it staying there just parking the domain

I just need some encouragement to keep doing it..

No (because it's called "andy's stuff"), no(doesn't match my interests), no (doesn't match my interests) and no (there are only three posts).

Look... if you seriously want to make a "blog" (I wouldn't make one unless I have to), you need to answer these questions:
  • Why do you write it?
  • Who do you write it for?
  • What is the purpose of your blog?
  • What are you trying to achieve by writing it?

The "blog" is a tool designed to post content. That's all, there's no magic about it. Even technology behind it isn't that interesting. If you write it for fun, then why do you try to "make it look \"professional\""?
IMO, right now you're simply toying with new technology you discovered few weeks ago, and aren't sure what the heck you're going to do with it.

The technology for making blogs is well-known and well tested.

You can easily express yourself by making an *.odt or *.tex file and writing whatever you want in it. In such way, you could write a book, for example. So.. why exactly do you want to express yourself on the web?

IMO, if you need encouragement to keep doing it, then you don't really want to keep doing it, otherwise you wouldn't need encouragement.

Just my 2 cents...

Yes, I'd say it's more in line with the occasional "Test Post" threads we have here. There's no need to test LQ, we know it works fine...

I think the blog needs a little bit more color and quite a bit more of content (you can also try to rearrange everything so it looks well-organized).

My blog is http://nicolasjengler.com.ar but it's in spanish so I don't think you guys will be able to read it (unless you speak spanish, or use a translator, of course xD)

  • No, I don't pay for my domain. Argentinian citizens are allowed to have a .com.ar domain for free.
  • I use blogger, everything that you see there is made on Blogger but it's severely modified.
  • I went for the ads to make some money, but obviuosly it didn't work. Now I'm just too lazy to take them off.
  • As I said before, no hosting. Just blogger.
