Fedora Core2 CD is not found

I'm a newbie, I'm taking a class at hplearning for Linux, I got Fedora Core 2 from pogolinux and am trying to install it. I reformatted the hard drive on my old HP Pavillion that has 533mhz intel celeron, 256 Mg ram , 15 G hard drive. I've set an active dos partition of 7G.
When I boot from the fedora CD, it runs through a bunch of stuff and asks me for the language etc then it tells me it can't find the Fedora Core on the CDrom drive, to insert disk????? So I tried all four disks and also the ISO disks that I burned. I'm lost, can any one help me with this?

I'm stuck on lesson 2 and lesson 4 has already posted

You need to check your MD5Sums.. You have a bug in your download, I would check all of the discs, but obviously trhe first disc is currupted.. You're going to have to re-download any of the ISOs that are bad..

And don't worry about pre-partitioning your disk, you will do that during installation. Good Luck!

hi,

check the following link for instruction on how to "Check MD5sums On A Linux Iso Image"
http://www.linuxiso.org/viewdoc.php/verifyiso.html

I assume that you d/l the x86-compatible (32-bit) CD iso files. Then it is:
FC2-i386-disc1.iso (md5sum: c366d585853768283dac6cdcefcd3a2d)
FC2-i386-disc2.iso (md5sum: fc3c926442cc85a469268651bd04c186)
FC2-i386-disc3.iso (md5sum: 5ad870e696953f4bbd0a91936873890e)
FC2-i386-disc4.iso (md5sum: c736f8048b12315b5c0b070de1d74867)

Also you have to check the CD's that you burned for errors. To do this boot off the first CD, and type the following command at the boot: prompt:
Code:
linux mediacheck
