Computer Facts first then problems.

AMD 64 3400+ processor
S3 Unichrome on Board video card
VIA K8M800 chipset
DFI K8M800-MLFV motherboard(which i know isnt the smartest but hasn't been to bad so far)
1GB memory in 1 stick another 1 GB stick had to be RMAed and should be on its way back to me.

I can give other info if needed.

OK...Now to the problem.
I can run FC2 fine when I run a 32 bit compile of it.
When I run a 64 bit compile or FC2 it won't let me install in graphics mode but I can install in the semi graphics mode with blue. After this install how ever it I can never fully boot up. Does any one have any ideas? I am a complete newbie and have some friends that will help me with the technical stuff but it has all of our minds boggled.

Ok so I put my other stick of memory in and it still doesn't work. I am totally confused about this. I'm a newbie but still I'm a computer person and my friends are having trouble figuring this out too. I need help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

When I install Fedora Core 2 64 I have to use the text-based installer as well, but I've gotten used to it now.

Where exactly does it hang up in the boot sequence? Have you run memtest?

Before it start run level 5 and after it starts run level 3.
