yumex-"Cannot find a valid baseurl for repo: base"


whts the meaning of this ? i get this message when i try out the command yumex
cant figure out why
kernel:2.6.9-1.667
arch:i686
rpm:yumex-0.31-1.tla.1.FC3.noarch.rpm

Have you tried using yum from the command line and does that give you the same error message?

Have you had a look at the Unofficial Fedora Faq instructions on using Yum and the yum.conf file they provide (http://www.fedorafaq.org/#installsoftware)?
