Thanks for your valuable information. I have benefits after hearing from junior hacker. By the way, i cannot find the main menu. I only have 3 tab in my panle which is application, places and system.

Thanks for your help.

Your help is greatly appreciated by me and others.

My apologies,
You may have Gnome as your Desktop environment, I have KDE. But usually it is a button with an "F" in it which will list a bunch of links to different applications and links for administrative tasks and system settings. If you do have Gnome, someone else should step up and help you navigate the menus. But it's probably the "applications" link, or "system" to find the different terminals.
