I have never used XAMPP so can't be of much help. Maybe you should have just used the Fedora Core ampp packages since they automatically install all the required startup scripts.

Hmm What program would I run to start those and how do I delete all XAMPP files? Can I just got to that particular directory and delete everything, or would the files most likely be all around my local drive? if so I know there is a grep command that allows you to sort all associated files, but I can't recall what it is.. Any help you can provide is much appreciated!
You can install the Fedora Core server stuff using YUM (or yumex if you prefer a gui). The start up scripts are automatically installed and to start a service at boot time, just enable this by running "system-config-services" or by clicking on "services" somewhere in the menu. Xampp seems to install things in /opt, so its safe to uninstall it (or keep it if you want since it does not interfere with the FC packages).

Ah, but if I keep it, and I do set up my apache, php5, mysql and all that off of FC wouldn't the localhost of XAMPP conflict with the localhost of my newly installed apache?
As long as you don't turn on both services at the same time, there should not be any conflict. I tried to make XAMPP work in FC5, but for some reason, XAMPP just did not want to initiate even all the services provided by FC5 were turned off. I think it is the environment setup that XAMPP could not find its necessary libraries by itself. However, after I study more about FC5 server services, I decided to migrate to the built-in servers, and they work great! The data backup and restore work great as well.

Cool, I think I'm going to try both and see which suites me better, I find XAMPP better initially because I have much to learn. Hopefully as my understanding becomes expansive I'll realize the built in server is simply more and better.
