Volume Levels lower by themselves!

Help,

OK this is a different machine than my earlier post about sound not working.

This system is FC2 with CS46xx driver. Now this may not be alsa related!

When I adjust the volume level on the volume control it will actually lower all the way to off unless I move it all the way to max volume. This is wacky!

Has anyone seen this behaviour?

Thanks in advance!
