As regards the fopen error, just add
#include <cstdio>
in the heading section of the HSV32Image.cc file.
But you'll soon face more errors. I'm still stuck trying to solve an incompatibility in the new API of libraw1394.
I'm running ubuntu 10.4, and trying to compile ReadingPeopleTracker-1.28.
[EDIT]: after a full day of fighting, I decided to install the software on a virtual machine running Ubuntu 7.10. I fighted a little more but succeded in making everything run.
Now the problem is how to configure the RPT to read a video from a file and produce a tracking. The few hints I could find until now about how to configure this sw were not enough for me.
The RPT starts, runs, shows the original video and the background subtraction, but does not track anything, nor it shows any more results.
