hallo all

yesterday i desided to format my dual boot pc and install windows and linux agian

so i formated my pc in the windows install then after windows finished installing i enterd the fedora core 4 disc and started to install it as well

when fedora finished to install and i rebooted my system all that appeard on the screen was the word "grub"

now i had this problem before with fc2 but this time i was not able to fix it
with the same sfdisk command
please help me figure it out

ok i kind of succseded in fixing the problem but i still need help

what i did is i inserted the first disc of fedora core 3 not 4 and enterd rescue mode

then i ran the command that didnt work for me in fedora core 4 rescue which is: sfdisk -d /dev/hda : sfdisk --no-reread -H255 /dev/hda

this time it worked i booted my pc and up came grub and i choose to boot fedora core 4 it worked great i got into my fedora core 4 and everything

but then when i booted my computer agian and tried to boot windows
it wrote me the command from the grub the:
rootnoverify (hd0,1)
chainloader +1


so windows doesnot start only linux...

how can i fix this? please help
