Red Carpet and Fedora

If you've ever used Ximian Red Carpet, go here as fast as you can and get to work....

http://episteme.arstechnica.com/eve/...&m=51300801855

If you haven't used Red Carpet, it's a graphical (and CLI) program for updating/adding software from the net. The above link has some pretty good info. I've tried it on two machines- no problems. Take note of the caution about upgrading the kernel this way- it says there that Red Carpet upgrades the kernel- whereas up2date installs the new kernel AND keeps the old.

BTW- I got to the above through a link off the FedoraNews.org newsletter...... I highly recommend signing up for that.

And visit Fedorazine.com too. (Hey Steve!)

Help out the Fedora! :-)
