I did not encounter any Fedora 2.92 problems during installation.
But after the installation restart and right after post, it will not load grub or any other OS, but gives me bunch of "99" that filled half the screen.
I waited for a while and did not notice any harddrive movements so i suppose it did not even try to load the OS on my harddrive.
I do not understand why since it did not give me any other errors in words.

Prior to my Fedora installation, i had Mandrake 10.1 installed with lilo. I formated the linux partition during Fedora install.
Could it be lilo being left over and messing up grub?

To boot back to Windows XP, i had to simply install Mandrake again and to get lilo show up.

Any thoughts? Please help. Thank you!

The 99s are a lilo error which means invalid second stage index sector. This was most likely caused by not selecting to write grub to the MBR which would of overwritten lilo.

In case this happens again to remove lilo or grub boot the XP install CD and select recovery mode. Then run the fixmbr utility.

In doing the fixmbr, will it reset anything on my Windows and my other partitions?

Just making sure, i would do this before i install Fedora again?
