i hav posted about the installation problem earlier also

still i'm struggling with the problem can anyone pls help me . i hav a pentium duo 2.8 processor on intel motherboard. i'm having 160 SATA HDD and viewsonic V702 LCD display with ATI graphic card. wen i try to install the Fedora core 5 distro in text mode it is doing good n after completing the installation i'm only getting console not getting any gui

if i try to start installation in GUI mode or want to connect to Xserver using startx command i'm getting a balck screen with rgb patches or dotted & distorted screen after that nothing is visible i hav to restart my pc to get to the command line.

even ctrl+alt+f2 is not working

so can any one please help me where to get rid of this problem .

You probably need the video driver for your ati card.
