any OSS alternative of Norton Ghost? I really don't wont to run windows to do whatever, so pls help me out here

what happens if backup is restored in another partition afterwards... I should update grub, or reinstall it simply and is the swap partition going to be a problem since it won't be in the backup or will be with different hdxx? or maybe is possible to create some LiveFedoraDVD and then somehow to be able to transfer it - which I don't think is quite possible without a lot of scripting

there is also partimage which comes in knoppix and systemrescuecd

but i havent tried it out

great now I have starting point - google is starting point but I DON'T want to experiment or at least to have some secure copy of my Fedora
