Don't kick me to the curb if this has been asked before - but my new fedora core 3 software does not play mp3,s rip mp3,s or play any mpeg vids. Am I missing something? I figured this would be included in the basic setup. Could someone point me in the right direction for whatever I need? I'm still pretty new to this.

When you first installed the operating system what type of install did you choose?
Did the "Test Sound" check work with your audio device?
yesd - test sounds work just fine. I just downloaded xmms and now I seem to get sound - I am now just reading that fedora does not include mp3 or mpeg support due to licensing issues?
Is there a working version of Helix that I could try?
