Howto shutdown power Management

FC5-64. Nvidia PCI-E, Nforce4, AthlonX2
I have a x86_64 box that goes into power management shutdown
and the box goes into a deep sleep and you can't it wake up
no matter what key you hit, I have to shut the box down and reboot.
