Is Samsung still using a proprietary filesystem? If you can't mount the phone via USB and find the file, then easiest is to attach it to a draft in gmail. Then you can download it on any gmail client.

What do you mean by print? Actually print something to a connected printer or just transfer the file.

I've had zero success with any cups apps or printing on any phone to date. I usually jut get a a simple network capable file manager on my phone / tablet and put the file on my server. Then I can open it on my desktop and print with zero difficulty, windows or linux.
