Trying to install NVIDIA drivers and having trouble. I just started messing around with linux about a week ago so I'm a noob, if you can be as specific as possible with your replies I would greatly apprciate it.

I installed gcc after all of my dependency issues got worked out and I go to hit the NVIDIA installer and it says that cc is not in my path? I went in and ran gcc.rpm again and it said it is already installed. How do I change the path it installs to or put it in my path?

I'm running fedora core 3 with the 2.6 kernel if you need that. And a NVIDIA Riva TNT2 Vid card. AGP

That is actually a differant problem. Theirs is a version mismatch between what is currently installed on the pc and what the installer needs to function. My problem is that the installer is not finding the compiler in my path.
