Firefox no longer finds my website under root but will find it logged in as a user in fedora 25

Firefox no longer finds my website under root but will find it logged in as a user in fedora 25. If I use the ethernet cable from my router to connect my laptop as root in Fedora 25 it finds my site.

I am at a loss to figure this one out any suggestions?

I don't recommend you running your system as 'root'. Bad idea:-
Ensure that your browser is up to date.
