Yay! I just got Fedora installed, and towards the end, it asked me if I wanted to make a user account. Since I am the only person that uses this computer, I said no, and it asked me if I was sure and that I would only be able to log-in under administrative mode, and I still proceeded.

Well, Fedora booted up, and I get to a log-in screen that is asking me for my name/user name and my problem is, I dunno what to put in there.

I tried putting in a name, then a password to see if it would make an account, but I see that it doesn't.

Can someone please(!) help me, and PLEASE don't tell me that I have to reinstall just to set a user name!

If you didn't create a user account during setup then your login name will be 'root'.

You will not want to use this as your regualar user account. Once you log in as root you should create a new user and then immediately log out of root and into the new user you created. If you need the root account to do stuff then you can always 'su' from a terminal.
