Fedora ACPI No Power Mgmt.

I was told via the mailing lists for Fedora that the Fedora kernel would support ACPI for CPU enumeration only (no biggie I can always recompile) but does this mean that I would just have to supply my own acpid scripts and load acpi modules myself (such as battery, ac_adapter, etc)? Or has ACPI been crippled in the kernel itself?

Also, anyone know where to find out exactly what is patched into the Fedora Kernel? Specifically, if CPUFreq is included?

Thanks!
