Yes, it is. Before I got on DSL, I was using a dial-up service. You have to make sure that you find the right drivers for your modem. I was able to get some drivers for mine at www.linuxant.com . They are not free though. Do an lspci command from the terminal. Look at your modem hardware and search google to see if you can find drivers.

What do you exactly mean "On Dial Up" ? If you want to use a dial-up modem with Fedora, in all probability, you can. If you want to download Fedora on a dial up connection, believe me, you'd be better off buying Fedora CD's from your local vendor or Computer Repair Shop.

Yes it is possible to have fedora run on dial up. good luck getting it to work though. you need to put in the research time

you get to the dialup software by going to the terminal and typing kppp.



the problem comes in getting the modem to work. you need to research winmodems and linmodems. LInmodems(controlerred) will workright away. but win modems require special FREE!!!!! software to work.
