Fedora 24/25 and Google Chrome instead of Chromium

At some point during Fedora 24, Chrome was suddenly replaced with Chromium again. I have tried to reinstall Chrome only for it to not actually run. Even with Fedora 25, I still cannot gain access to Chrome.

Although Chromium keeps all my passwords and login information that Chrome did, it just does not have all of the features that I want. Is there a way to make my beloved Chrome work again with Fedora?

Is there something I need to run to get results as to why Chrome itself is not running? Any information and help would be great.

Thanks in advance!

I was able to get things working by using Chrome Beta, I still can't get Chrome stable to work. Please let me know if you have any ideas.

I use chrome constantly on F24 - from google-chrome repo. Never had a problem except at update, although I think even that worked ok on the upgrade to F24.

Ditto. I just installed the google repo from www.google.com, and google-chrome-stable has worked through a few fedora versions up to 24 (haven't gone to 25 yet).

Thanks for the input, I guess that officially makes it a problem with just my computer. I have tried to uninstall and reinstall, but at least I have the beta version working.

I usually download the RPM and have Yumex do the installation. Works well.
